Applications are now open for the 2024 Africa Soft Power Climate Change Photo Essay Prize. This initiative invites individuals aged 18 to 30 from Africa and the global diaspora to capture and document the environmental transformations occurring in their surroundings.

Following the success of the inaugural Climate Change Photo Essay Prize in 2023, we are excited to announce the second edition, themed “At a Crossroad: Climate and Change.”
The Climate Change Photo Essay Prize is organized by Africa Soft Power (ASP) in collaboration with the African Women Board (AWB) as part of the ‘Road to 100 Million Climate Soldiers in Africa’ campaign. This campaign emphasizes the importance of climate education, which we consider essential for achieving effective climate solutions.

Our objective is to educate and empower 100 million young Africans in the battle against climate change, with our progress assessed through the outreach of each project within the campaign.
