Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Attention all bootcamp participants! Get ready for an incredible opportunity to be considered for the prestigious Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. Not only will you have the chance to showcase your talents, but there are also monetary prizes up for grabs.

• There are three exciting categories to choose from. If you’re passionate about making a positive impact on society by addressing issues like poverty, inequality, education, and healthcare, then the Social Entrepreneurship category is perfect for you.
• For those who are dedicated to combating climate change and its associated challenges, the Climate Entrepreneurship category is where you can shine. Whether you’re working on energy efficiency, carbon capture, waste management, sustainable agriculture, water resource management, or climate adaptation, this is your chance to make a difference.
• And finally, if you believe in the power of integrating economic, social, and environmental considerations into your business, then the Sustainable Entrepreneurship category is the one for you. Show us how you’re making a positive impact on all fronts.
• Even if you don’t make it to the shortlist, fear not! The remaining 21 young entrepreneurs will still have access to an online networking platform where you can connect with your fellow cohort members. Share your challenges, celebrate your successes, and support those who have been shortlisted for the awards. Together, we can create a thriving community of young entrepreneurs.

Winners

• There are several stages to determine the winners of the awards.
• First, the Pitch judging at the Bootcamp will carefully select the top nine finalists.
• Then, in July, the public voting will open to gather input and help decide the ultimate winner.
• Before the Global Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, there will be a second pitching session where the winners will be announced.

Eligibility

• To be eligible for the Youth Business International Bootcamp, you must meet certain criteria.
• You must have been born between November 1, 1989, and January 1, 2006.
• Additionally, you must have received support from a YBI member within the last 24 months.
• You must also be an Entrepreneur or Business Owner in the Impact Entrepreneurship space.
• Your business should have been operating for at least three years and have evidence of multiple projects launched to the market.
• The financial analysis of your business must demonstrate its potential for high growth.
• Lastly, your business must have the potential to win one of the three Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards categories mentioned earlier.
