Apply for the VLIR-UOS Masters Scholarships (ICP) for study in Flanders, Belgium (Funded)
VLIR-UOS is offering amazing opportunities for students from developing countries to pursue full Masters Scholarships in Belgium. This scholarship is especially beneficial for African students, as half of the scholarships will be dedicated to them. And guess what? Women are given preference! How incredible is that?
The best part is that the eligible training or Masters programmes are taught in English, so language won’t be a barrier for you. Isn’t that fantastic?
Now, let’s talk about the requirements. To be eligible for an ICP Connect scholarship, you need to meet certain criteria. Firstly, you must be a national of one of the 29 eligible countries. Additionally, you should be a resident of one of these countries (not necessarily the same one) at the time of application. You can check the list of eligible countries on our website.
In terms of age, for an initial master, you cannot be older than 35 on January 1 of the year of intake. And for an advanced master, the maximum age limit is 45. So, if you fall within these age brackets, you’re good to go!
When it comes to your professional background and experience, candidates employed in higher education, government, or civil society will be given preference. However, if you’re from the private sector or a newly graduated candidate with no work experience, don’t worry! You can still be considered if you provide a strong motivation and profile.
Now, here’s an important point to note. You can apply for only one ICP Connect scholarship application per year. Also, you cannot receive any other scholarship or grant to participate in this study programme or any other programme simultaneously.
Lastly, if you have previously received a scholarship from the Belgian government or have enrolled in a study programme at a Belgian higher education institution before January 1 of the year of intake, you won’t be eligible for this scholarship.
So, what are you waiting for? VLIR-UOS supports a selection of 10 initial and 5 advanced master programmes. Take a look at our one- and two-year programmes below and grab this incredible opportunity to pursue your Masters in Belgium!
