Apply for the University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships
The University of Edinburgh is pleased to announce that it will be providing twenty Masters scholarships for eligible part-time distance learning Masters programs offered by the University.
Award: University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships
Each University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships scholarship will cover the full tuition fees and will be valid for the entire duration of the program of study.
Eligibility: University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships
To be eligible for these scholarships, students must be commencing any online part-time learning Masters program offered by the University in the session 2024-2025. It is important to note that only programs of study that are at Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Descriptor Level 11 will be considered for this scholarship. Programs at SCQF Descriptor Level 12, such as the Master of Surgery (ChM), are not eligible.

Applicants must also be nationals and residents of countries classified as ‘Least Developed Countries’, ‘Other low-income Countries’, or ‘Lower Middle Income Countries’ according to the Organisation for Economic Corporation and Development Assistance Committee. Furthermore, applicants should have already received an offer of a place at the University of Edinburgh and have either accepted the offer or have the intention to do so.
Selection Criteria: University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships
The scholarship will be granted based on academic excellence and the quality of the personal statement. Preference will be given to individuals who have not previously pursued a master’s degree.
Application Process: University of Edinburgh Global Online Learning Masters Scholarships
Applicants are required to include the following information in their personal statement: (a) the specific aspects of the program that attracted them to the University of Edinburgh; (b) how completing this program will benefit their career and personal growth; and (c) how they plan to contribute to their community, region, or country.
Eligible candidates must complete an online scholarship application.
The deadline for scholarship applications is 23:59pm BST on Monday, 3rd June 2024.
To access the scholarship application system, applicants must have already applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that it may take up to five working days after submitting an admission application for all system checks to be completed and access to be granted.
The online scholarship application form can be found in EUCLID, which is accessible through MyEd, our web-based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk.
