Apply for the MLOVE Fellowship Program
Established in 2017 by Mwangi Mukami, the Summer Leaders’ Summit & Retreat has evolved into MLOVE, a prestigious fellowship designed for NextGen leaders who possess great potential but lack resources. This multidisciplinary and multicultural program offers a safe space for young leaders to thrive over a period of 12 months, exploring experiential leadership and collaborating with others. Through this fellowship, participants have the opportunity to learn from esteemed professors, develop their leadership skills, and emerge as impactful leaders.
To support the MLOVE Fellows in their journey, various resources are provided, including a financial stipend, coaching and mentoring, and other necessary tools. These resources enable the fellows to devise and execute strategies that will give them an advantage in a complex and ever-changing environment.
The objective of the MLOVE Fellowship program is to address the unique challenges faced by Sub-Saharan Africa, which has the youngest population in the world, with 70% of its people under the age of 30. Unfortunately, a significant portion of this demographic comes from low-income families and struggles with underemployment. By empowering NextGen leaders through the MLOVE program, Africa’s immense potential can be harnessed and utilized effectively.
The MLOVE program is specifically designed for young people, providing them with a platform to learn, innovate, and collaborate with others to achieve their goals. By doing so, these young leaders contribute to creating a better world.
