The Power Learn Project (PLP) is an organization dedicated to empowering young Africans with essential tech skills and fostering talent development. In partnership with The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, the Power Learn Project provides the PLP Scholarship in Software Development, a unique opportunity for individuals to enhance their coding abilities and gain entrepreneurship and employability skills.
This 16-week course equips participants with the necessary knowledge to become junior software developers, enabling them to kickstart their careers in the tech industry or even launch their own tech-enabled startups. The application deadline for this program is June 14th, 2024.
Our training program in Software Development has been carefully designed to provide you with the necessary technical skills needed to thrive in the modern digital landscape. Over the course of 16 weeks, you will engage in hands-on, self-paced online training covering a range of programming languages, including Python and Blockchain 101. Who is eligible to apply for the LSETF Power Learn Project Software Development Scholarship?
The program is fully sponsored and open to all applicants who successfully navigate our selection process and demonstrate proficiency in our computer literacy test.
Once selected, learners will undergo a virtual orientation session and begin their learning journey on our online platform. To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:
1. You must be above 18 years of age.
2. You should possess basic computer literacy.
3. You must have access to a laptop or PC with an internet connection.
4. You should be enthusiastic about acquiring new skills.

The program offers certification in various coding languages, including Python Programming, Dart with Flutter, Database Programming, Web Technologies, and Soft Skills.
