Your Role and Responsibilities
- As a Technical/Technical Sales Graduate at IBM, you will have a deep understanding of your client’s business and technical requirements, as well as the competitive landscape.
- You will use your business insights to build and maintain client relationships, incorporate IBM Data & AI portfolio into client-valued solutions, and ensure client readiness for the implementation of technical solutions.
- You will be self-motivated, driven to win sales opportunities, and ready to interact daily with customers, colleagues, and business partners.
- You will develop re-usable industry-specific assets and demonstrations, collaborate with other internal IBM teams to drive unmatched customer satisfaction, and maintain an understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends and business processes.
- You will work with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- You will have a demonstrated level of business acumen as it applies to the client’s business, be skilled in consultative selling, and have a commercially minded approach to supporting end-to-end sales engagements with the ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- You will have extensive networking and interpersonal skills in complex environments and be a self-starter with eagerness to seek and build new skills.
Minimum requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree/Honours Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
– Proficient in developing code
– Basic knowledge of Java, Python, Eclipse, Ansible, and Cloud platforms
– Passionate about utilizing technology to create solutions for the entire organization
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
