Applications open for the Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship Program.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship Program. This program is designed to empower young individuals to create, develop, and expand innovative social businesses that are economically viable and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The ideal candidates for this fellowship are individuals who are dedicated and committed to building a business that addresses a social or environmental issue aligned with the UN SDGs. They should be between the ages of 18 and 30, although exceptional applicants outside of this age range will also be considered. Additionally, the initiatives should be more than just an idea, having been prototyped and tested to some extent.

Innovation is a key aspect of the fellowship, with a focus on solutions that integrate new mindsets or technologies in their products or services, processes, or context. Candidates should also have a genuine interest in contributing to the growth and development of the Yunus & Youth (Y&Y) Community by dedicating at least 5 hours per week to the fellowship.

Furthermore, the fellowship is committed to equity and diversity. Candidates should either identify as or target problems faced by a minority group based on their region’s composition, such as ethnic/racial minorities, gender minorities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, refugees and displaced people, those with low-income, or people with disabilities.
