Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024/2025 UN Young Professionals Programme
The UN Young Professionals Programme (YPP) serves as a recruitment initiative aimed at attracting talented and highly qualified individuals to embark on a career as international civil servants within the UN Secretariat. This program includes an entrance examination process, followed by professional development opportunities for those who successfully commence their careers with the UN.
The UN YPP examination occurs annually across various subject areas, tailored to meet the evolving needs of the UN. Participation in the UN Young Professionals Programme is open to nationals from designated countries, with the list of eligible countries subject to change each year.
Eligibility Requirements – UN Young Professionals Programme
– Nationality of a participating Member State
– A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree of at least three years relevant to the examination area
– Candidates must be 32 years of age or younger (born on or after January 1, 1992)
– Proficiency in either English or French.

- The application period for the 2024 UN Young Professionals Programme exams is now open.
- Applications will be accepted through 28 September 2024.
