UN Tourism Internship Programme’

In order to be eligible for the UN Tourism Internship Programme, individuals must be currently enrolled in a university programme or have recently completed one. While interns will not receive a salary from UN Tourism, they may be eligible for a monthly stipend of EUR 500 to cover transportation expenses. It is mandatory for interns to have an all-risk insurance that is valid for the entire duration of the internship. If necessary, the Organization may provide assistance with obtaining a visa, but interns are responsible for all other aspects of their stay at the duty station during the internship period.

UN Tourism may consider accepting interns based on their qualifications and the needs of the Organization’s work programme. Generally, internship applications are kept on file by UN Tourism for a maximum of one year from the date of submission. Candidates who wish to be considered for inclusion in the roster of interns should complete the application form provided below.
