Applications open for the One Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2024 for Young Entrepreneurs
One Young World is pleased to announce the launch of the One Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2024, once again supported by TFG Asset Management. The award ceremony will take place at the One Young World Summit in Montréal (Tiohtià:ke), Canada, from 18-21 September 2024.
The current global challenges of unemployment, climate change, and globalization present significant obstacles. However, young entrepreneurs, armed with rapid technological advancements, are successfully overcoming these barriers worldwide.
At the core of every startup or business venture lies the determination to solve a problem. One Young World firmly believes that the next generation of young entrepreneurs is not only capable of creating convenient solutions but also of tackling the world’s most pressing challenges.
Established in 2019, One Young World’s Entrepreneur of the Year aims to recognize and promote the most groundbreaking entrepreneurs under the age of 35 who are making a positive global impact and inspiring others through their leadership.
Eligibility
- To be eligible for the award, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old,
- demonstrate exemplary leadership in their field, highlight the importance of entrepreneurship as a means of effecting positive change,
- and have achieved tangible and substantial entrepreneurial success (measured by revenue and number of employees).
criteria
- The award winners will be selected by an international panel of judges who possess firsthand experience in entrepreneurship.
- These judges will be looking for the most innovative entrepreneurs who are making a positive global impact and inspiring others through their leadership.
