Applications open for the Nigerian Breweries Plc/Industrial Training Fund (ITF) & NECA – Technical Skills Development Programme.
Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Technical Skills Development Programme, a collaboration between the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), and Nigerian Breweries Plc.
This 7-month training program aims to provide young Nigerians with the necessary technical skills in the field of Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering.
The main objectives of the program are to equip youths with employable technical and science skills and to promote a Public-Private Sector Model in Vocational/Technical Skills Training, thereby contributing to the capacity development of our country.

- Selected candidates will receive free tuition and lunch throughout the program.
- The training will take place at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries Plc, with attachments available at any of our Brewery Locations. Please note that trainees will not receive a salary during the training period, but they will be entitled to a monthly stipend.
- It is important to clarify that participation in this program does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the trainees.
Eligibility for the Nigerian Breweries Plc/Industrial Training Fund (ITF) & NECA – Technical Skills Development Programme
- To be eligible for this program, candidates must meet certain educational qualifications.
- This includes having a credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry,
- Holding a Higher National Diploma or its equivalent in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Additionally, candidates must have graduated no earlier than 2020 and have completed their NYSC.
