Applications open for the Global Good Fund Fellowship For Innovators and Entrepreneurs

The Global Good Fund Fellowship is designed for individuals who are innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders of social impact organizations, both for-profit and non-profit. This program specifically targets emerging leaders and entrepreneurs who come from diverse backgrounds in terms of ethnicity, religion, economic status, geographic location, and gender.

The ideal candidates for this fellowship are entrepreneurs who are committed to their own personal growth and development. They must also hold a full-time leadership position within their social enterprise, which should have been operational for a minimum of two to five years.

The program is looking for leaders who are actively scaling their enterprises and are interested in enhancing their leadership skills in alignment with the needs of their organization. These leaders should be open to coaching, possess a growth mindset, and be enthusiastic about receiving personalized mentorship that will drive their business and teams towards success. It is essential that ideal candidates are fully dedicated to the 12-month hybrid program offered by The Global Good Fund.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this fellowship, the candidate’s enterprise must have been in operation for at least two years and employ a minimum of two full-time, paid employees. The candidate themselves must hold a primary decision-making role within the enterprise, such as a C-Suite position (CEO, COO, CTO, CFO, etc.), Co-Founder/Founder & C-Suite, or Executive Director. Additionally, the candidate must be fully committed to running the enterprise on a full-time basis.

The enterprise being led by the candidate can be either for-profit, non-profit, or a hybrid model. The scope of the enterprise’s work can be either international, domestic, or a combination of both. It is important that the enterprise has developed an effective business model and is well-positioned to scale in the long-term, or can provide evidence of high potential for scaling. The enterprise should also be addressing issues in sectors such as Financial Inclusion, Environment, Education, Economic Mobility, and Health.

In summary, The Global Good Fund Fellowship seeks out leaders who are dedicated to making a positive impact on society through their social enterprises. They are looking for individuals who are committed to personal growth, scaling their enterprises, and are open to receiving mentorship and coaching. The fellowship is open to both for-profit and non-profit enterprises, with a focus on sectors that address important societal issues.

However, we will consider applicants who do not reside in these areas based on their potential for creating social impact and driving systemic change.
Applicants should not be receiving formal coaching or mentoring support. If they are applying for other fellowships within the same fellowship cycle, please indicate this in your application.
Application Process

Phase I: Preliminary Questionnaire: May – June

  1. A set of short-answer questions designed to evaluate the applicants’ alignment with our Fellowship criteria.
  2. Estimated completion time: approximately 30 minute

Phase II: Comprehensive Application: July – August

  1. A mandatory video submission where we request you to share your personal story with us.
  2. 2 recommendation letters
  3. Financial viability template
  4. Short answer questions covering the following topics:
    – Impact measurement
    – Description of your enterprise and its unique qualities
    – Assessment of your leadership potential and coachability
  5. Estimated completion time: 1-2 hours approximately

Phase III: Interview: October – November

  1. A 30-minute video interview
  2. Candidates are required to invite 1 colleague and/or community member who can provide testimony to their work to participate in the interview
