Applications open for the Cascador Entrepreneurial and Leadership Initiative ($5,000 Cash Stipend)

Cascador accelerator program has launched the 2024 edition of its Cascador Entrepreneurial and Leadership Initiative, a program aimed at providing selected entrepreneurs with strong financial support, intensive training, and mentorship. Cascador serves as an accelerator program specifically designed for mid-stage entrepreneurs in Africa who are actively scaling their mission-driven companies. Our primary focus is on cultivating strong leadership skills, developing clear value propositions, creating appropriate funding plans (including equity, debt, and grants), establishing a robust network of local resources, and fostering a supportive community of peers.

Program Components of the Cascador Entrepreneurial and Leadership Initiative

1. The program encompasses a combination of in-person and virtual experiences, ensuring a comprehensive learning journey.
2. Additionally, individual mentorship is provided to our fellows even after the program concludes, enabling them to effectively apply their acquired knowledge in the real world.
3. As part of our commitment to personal development, each participant is granted a stipend of $5,000 USD.
4. Furthermore, a select few alumni may have the opportunity to qualify for debt or equity funding through our affiliated financing organization.

Important Dates: Cascador Entrepreneurial and Leadership Initiative

– In-person kick-off: September 9-11 at the Radisson Blu, VI in Lagos (lodging and meals will be provided)
– Virtual education (weekly 2-hour video calls): September 15-October 31
– In-person intensive: November 4-8 at the Lagos Business School (lodging and meals will be provided)
– Cohort Size: Limited to 10 entrepreneurs

Criteria: Cascador Entrepreneurial and Leadership Initiative

1. We are seeking entrepreneurs who have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years
2. generate at least ₦50M per year in revenue.
