Award Conditions
- The conditions for receiving an AKF ISP award are quite unique. It is structured as a combination of a grant and a loan, where you are required to repay 50 percent of the award amount.
- However, if you are pursuing a Master’s degree, you are in luck! The scholarship will cover the entire duration of your degree course.
- On the other hand, if you are a PhD student, the scholarship will be awarded for the first two years only. After that, you will need to secure funding from other sources.
- The award itself is quite generous as it covers your tuition fees and living expenses.
- However, it’s important to note that it does not cover the cost of international travel, clothing, furniture, or living expenses for your family members.
- To ensure that you continue to receive the AKF ISP award, you must maintain good academic standing throughout your postgraduate program.
- Additionally, you need to demonstrate ongoing financial need.
