Applications open for the A.S. Hornby Educational Trust scholarships for UK study programs.

Applications are now open for the A.S. Hornby Educational Trust scholarships for the 2024/25 study programs. These scholarships are specifically designed for applicants outside the UK who are passionate about English language teaching and want to make a positive impact in their home countries.

The Hornby Educational Trust focuses on building the capacity of English language teaching in low- and middle-income countries. They offer Master’s degree scholarships to teachers and professionals who have demonstrated experience and potential in the field of English language teaching and learning.

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be academically talented and have relevant experience. They must also be nationals of and work in low and middle income countries as defined by the OECD DAC list.

The benefits of these scholarships are truly remarkable. Up to ten fully funded scholarships are available, which include a full fee waiver and a minimum maintenance payment of £15,500 for the year. These scholarships are specifically for the MEd TESOL Program at the University of Exeter for the September 2024 intake.

It’s important to note that these scholarships are only applicable to the MEd TESOL program and not for PGCert or PGDip programs of study. The Hornby Trust is proud to partner with the University of Exeter for these scholarships, and all applicants will be jointly considered by both institutions.
