Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 ARM Labs Innovation Programme for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs (ALIP). ALIP is a pre-accelerator initiative that aims to support early-stage startups and aspiring tech founders. The program offers guidance, resources, and mentorship to refine business ideas, develop products or services, and prepare participants for further acceleration and investment readiness.
Throughout an 8-week period, we work closely with each startup, focusing on enhancing their product, market strategies, and team dynamics to ensure their readiness for success. The program provides access to the ARM network, exclusive deals from partner organizations, and expert mentors from the fintech industry who offer practical guidance and valuable introductions.
Eligibility for the ARM Labs Innovation Programme for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs
- To be eligible for ALIP, startups must be at the pre-seed stage and have received/raised less than 500k prior to applying for the program.
- They must also demonstrate market demand for their product or services, which can be shown through a specified number of active customers or a demonstrated growth rate.
- The founding team should be full-time, committed, and willing to actively participate in the program.
- Additionally, evidence of market validation, including user traction, customer feedback, and initial revenue streams, is required.
- The startups must also accept the terms of investment prior to entering ALIP and be a legal registered entity in Nigeria.
Benefits of the ARM Labs Innovation Programme for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs
- Participating startups that successfully complete ALIP and meet all program requirements have the opportunity to receive up to $50,000 investment from ARM in exchange for 6% equity.
- They will also have the chance to engage with experienced mentors and industry experts throughout the program. ALIP’s curriculum is tailored to cover critical aspects of business development, including the POEM framework (Proposition, Organization, Economics & Milestones).
