Applications open for Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programmen(10th cohort)

Applications are currently being accepted for the 10th cohort of the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme. This program, which is a collaboration between the Kingdom of Netherlands and FATE Foundation, aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and help them turn their dreams into successful ventures. Over the past five years, we have proudly supported and nurtured 180 businesses through nine cohorts, showcasing the transformative impact of our dynamic ecosystem.

The programme offers a range of capacity-building opportunities, including trainings, master classes, events, coaching and mentoring, as well as access to potential customers, markets, and financing. Orange Corners Lagos, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Lagos and implemented by FATE Foundation, is dedicated to fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nigeria. Our goal is to provide economic opportunities, skills, and empowerment for the youth.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the programme, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and have a business concept.

Benefits

The key benefits of joining include enterprise management training, business incubation and advisory services, funding for prototype development and testing, as well as mentorship and coaching. The Incubation programme offers a structured curriculum and combines interactive enterprise training, mentoring, advisory services, and business support to help each participant fully develop their idea into a viable product or service.

Application fir Stage I:

To apply for the program, interested individuals must complete the online form provided. The form will require applicants to fill in all the necessary fields and upload the following documents:

1. Passport Photograph
2. School Certificate or Statement of Result
3. Birth Certificate
4. CAC Registration (Optional)

For Stage II:

  • After reviewing all the applications received, we will shortlist 30 candidates for a 2-day Bootcamp. This Bootcamp will conclude with a Pitch Competition, where the top 20 participants per stream will be selected to proceed to the Incubation program.
  • Thanks to the generous support of the Kingdom of Netherlands Orange Corners and our other partners, the program is completely free for entrepreneurs who are shortlisted for the Bootcamp and incubation stage. Orange Corners Nigeria will cover all direct course fees as part of their scholarship support.
  • The 6-month Incubation program includes in-person capacity building sessions, business advisory and mentoring, industry visits, and networking events. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the program will be delivered both in-person and virtually.
