Applications open for 2024 Nigeria LNG Post-Primary Scholarship Scheme.
Applications for the 2024 Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) Post-Primary Scholarship Scheme are currently being accepted. NLNG is offering this scholarship to Basic Six public primary school pupils in River State to support their secondary school education. The program is open to all qualified individuals, including Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria include being an indigene of an NLNG host community in River State, currently in Basic Six in a public primary school in River State, not receiving any other scholarship, bursary, or grant, being under 12 years old, and not having a direct relation working at Nigeria LNG Limited.
To apply, applicants must have a Basic six pupil in a public primary school in Rivers State, provisional admission from an NLNG partner school, academic result sheets, attestation letter from the current school, indigene confirmation letter, identification letter from the Local Government Council, recent passport-sized photograph, and birth certificate from the Nigeria Population Commission.
Who Can Apply
- Must be an indigene of any of the NLNG host communities in River State.
- Must be in Basic Six and schooling in a public primary school in River State.
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship award, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
- Must not be more than 12 years of age.
- Must not be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited.
Award Criteria:
- Have a Basic six pupil in a public primary school in Rivers State.
- Have a provisional admission from any of NLNG partner schools below:
- Hallel College (Boarding) Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
- Archdeacon Brown Secondary School Woji, Port Harcourt.
- Christie Toby Education Center, Iriebe.
- Provide his/her Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic six result sheets.
- Provide an attestation letter stamped and signed by the Headmaster or Headmistress of his/current school (the contact telephone number of the headmaster/headmistress must be stated in the letter).
- Provide an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in his/her community.
- Provide a letter of identification from his/her Local Government Council.
- Provide a recent passport-sized photograph without glasses (photo taken not earlier than January 2024).
- Provide a birth certificate issued by the Nigeria Population Commission (NPC)
