Applications are now open for the 2024 McKinsey Forward Learning Program for young African Professionals. This complimentary ten-week online initiative is designed by McKinsey to provide individuals at various stages of their careers with essential skills necessary for success in the evolving job market.
Eligibility Criteria – McKinsey Forward Learning Program for young African Professionals
To qualify for the Forward program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
– Currently reside in any country on the African continent
– Be employed, self-employed, or in between jobs
– Have less than five years of total work experience, or possess more than five years of experience without having directly managed colleagues in a corporate environment
– Have completed at least a secondary education or high school diploma
– Demonstrate proficiency in the English language, as the program will be conducted in English

Core Skills Level
The program spans ten weeks, requiring approximately two hours of commitment each week.
Participants will develop essential, practical skills through engaging, self-paced digital courses. The curriculum covers adaptability, effective communication, relationship building, problem-solving, and navigating the complexities of a modern digital landscape. Participants will have opportunities to apply their newly acquired skills through reflections, virtual learning events, and assignments.
