Applications are open for the 2024 FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program. This scholarship is specifically designed to encourage and support talented women in the finance industry, particularly those who are pursuing careers in financial asset management, market risk management, fixed-income, and derivatives finance within the capital markets.

Once a year, a deserving woman will be awarded a sum of US$20,000 to assist with her graduate-level studies in Finance. The award will be divided equally, with 50% being directly given to the recipient and the remaining 50% being paid to the educational institution to help cover tuition expenses.

Originally launched in 2014 as the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship, this program has continued even after the acquisition of FINCAD by Numerix in 2023.

Eligibility: FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Enrolled and attending a full-time Master’s or PhD program in Finance.
2. Started your studies no earlier than January 1, 2024, or no later than February 1, 2025.
3. Have less than 10 years of total work experience, and less than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field.
4. Be a female citizen of any country who is currently enrolled in a post-graduate program in Finance at an accredited university.
