Africa Digital Epidemiology and Innovation Network Innovation Challenge for Healthtech Innovators in Africa

The Africa Digital Epidemiology and Innovation Network (ADEIN), a manifestation of the Design for Health Practice at CcHUB, has declared the commencement of its innovation Challenge with the theme: Emerging Tech and Digital Interoperability: Innovating for Resilience and Improved Healthcare Delivery. The objective of this program is to establish a platform where innovators can showcase inventive technological concepts, simulations, and finalized products that are designed to provide adaptable AI-enhanced solutions in the healthcare sector.

This initiative is part of the practice’s strategy to offer assistance and funding to talented innovators in the creation and launch of products that will advance emerging technology in enhancing healthcare. These products include digitized disease monitoring and tracking systems, support systems for epidemiology studies, and the utilization of real-world data to amplify the impact of healthcare in Africa.

In line with this, the ADEIN Ambassadors are inviting health tech innovators to participate in the ADEIN Innovation Challenge. This challenge aims to stimulate innovations among healthcare entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about utilizing emerging technologies to bridge existing gaps in the healthcare sector, particularly in relation to healthcare delivery, disease preparedness, and climate health in Africa. We will be providing support to 12 promising startups with innovative solutions.

The final Demo day/pitch events will be conducted virtually in four countries: Nigeria, Kenya, Tunisia, and Rwanda.
